Why we built ClaimGlance
A few people close to us, family included, had small insurance claims at home. Each time, the insurance company's rep was friendly and helpful, the estimate arrived, and it all seemed fine.
Then a friend who works in contracting offered to take a look at one of them. He asked for a few photos and a quick walkthrough of the rooms, and he pointed out some things that didn't seem to be on the estimate. He suggested a few questions to ask the insurance company. The homeowner asked them, and the insurance company sent a revised estimate with more money the next day.
Nobody had done anything wrong. Busy claims move fast, and small things get missed. But most people don't have a friend in the trade to ask.
So we built ClaimGlance: a friendly second look at your home insurance estimate. You upload the estimate, confirm a few details about your rooms, and get a clear list of things that may be worth asking about, written in your own words, for you to send if you choose.
This was one family's experience. Every claim is different, and your estimate may have nothing missing. ClaimGlance can't promise any change to what your insurer pays.
ClaimGlance is self-help software, not a public adjuster or law firm. We don't represent you or contact your insurer.
